SUNDAY 9TH MARCH - CAMBRIDGE HALF MARATHON!

Cambridge Half Marathon Sunday 9th March and the first day of Spring! Almost too hot to run! :-)
Sam, Andy, Helen and her cousin Thea took part running for Madness 4 Mike! The 2 pairs relayed the distance. It was a brilliant event  with lots of support in the city that helped to drive us around the course! :-)

As an addition a new member of the team also participated in this event, Simon bravely took on the whole half marathon distance helping us increase the KM count nearer the challenging total! 

SUNDAY 23RD FEBRURARY - BLACKPOOL HALF MARATHON!

Sophie Anderson has completed the Blackpool Half Marathon and a 10K at Tatton Park over the past few weeks as well as several park runs. Sophie has become a keen Lymm runner and is extra motivated to be part of this challenge as her mum, Jean Anderson, also spent time at St Ann's Hospice before she died. Her sister Vicky will also be taking part in several events throughout the year. Well done Sophie, Dad and Jean will be up there watching you with pride, keep up the good work!!!

Hi all so this is the big one! The entry for the Manchester midnight walk has opened! This event is set to be our biggest team yet! Hugely popular event and would be great to get as many people as possible as part of our team. Now I can enter everyone (I think!) so will organise this in more detail with the hospice once I know numbers. 

The entry fee for those who haven't done it before is £18 and £15 if you have done it before. 

It's on Friday 20th June and the plan would be to get friends and family to sponsor us and if they are sponsored out with other events to just make a donation to our page yourself. 

Please spread the word to your family and friends if they wish to join us with this one and let me know if you are in or out so I can get an idea of numbers initially. Then I will set up payment direct with the hospice ideally but will be next month at earliest before we have numbers finalised.

NEW YEAR'S DAY SERPENTINE LONDON HYDE PARK 10K

NEW YEAR'S DAY 10K LONDON HYDE PARK!

3 Members of our team braved the horrific weather conditions to kick start the challenge today by participating in the New Year's Day 10K in Hyde Park. Sam was very disappointed that she had to pull out due to Labyrinthitis but she was very proud of her fiancé and friends taking part in what proved to be a very wet and windy 10K!

Well done that's 30K down...1984KM to go! Great start to the challenge! :-)
