Today a team of Sam's work colleagues, along side her future sister-in-law, partner and close friend all joined to take part in a shorter but fun event to contribute some more KM to the cause!
It was an event none of us had ever experienced before! A 5K run, the only requirements were to wear white and to wear some funky sunglasses to protect your eyes. The event was well organised and runners were hit with powder paint on the way around - thankfully there was the opportunity to also powder paint each other also on the way!
The team consisted of: Sam, Louisa Kent, Jite Kousin-Ezewu, Lucy Young, Louise & Jono Santry, Gillian Starrs, Jen Bradley, Duncan Bollt, Zachary Single, Kirsty Reynolds, Ben Wright, It was a fun event and special mention has to go to Kirsty Reynolds for completing her first organised 5K run.
After London 2 Brighton, I was starting to hit a wall with this challenge, this event really brought the fun back and kept the challenge positive!
